Ariana's famous inkings are so synonymous with her, she included them in the lyrics to her 7 Things hit, singing "girls with tattoos who like getting in trouble." Alongside a series of butterflies on her upper arm, the singer has lots of tiny meaningful inscriptions, like the worker bee she added behind her ear in memory of the fans from her Manchester concert.

Game Of Thrones actress, Sophie Turner, had an illo of a direwolf, her character's family sigil, with the words "The pack survives" added to her elbow – a reference to the fact that all of the Stark children survive the series. But since she debuted the art before the final series aired, she told fans: "It’s just a quote from last season but everyone figures that the pack really does survive, but it’s just a moral I like to live by."

And Cara Delevingne and Kaia Gerber cemented their friendship with matching foot tattoos. Taking to Instagram to wish Cara a happy birthday, Kaia uploaded a photo of word the 'solemate' inked on the side of their feet.
