Late nights and too much Sauvignon Blanc has left my skin lacklustre, dull and etched with fine lines, especially the delicate area around my eyes. I'm seeking a simple beauty gadget that's designed with time-poor gals like me in mind.
THE REVIEW
Firstly, this gadget is so easy to use. I simply had to whack the provided battery in and I was good to go. It comes with a chic case and is sleek and slim enough to slip in your handbag.
It uses sonic vibration and has a rather aesthetically pleasing amethyst stone head which vibrates at an impressive 6,000 pulses per minute to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Marketed as a quick-fix treatment, it promises to temporarily give you a more radiant, toned complexion in just a few minutes. Whether it lives up to its claims or not, I'm a total sucker for anything embellished with a crystal.
I simply pressed and glided the tool around my eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks, jawline and neck although I feel it would work better after applying your favourite moisturiser or serum to provide better lubrication.
The entire experience was extremely zen and is the perfect way of winding down after a hectic day in the office. Equally, it works as the perfect pick-me-up if you're prepping before a night out.
THE VERDICT
I totally get why the stars turn to Nurse Jamie's gadgets time and time again. This epic tool is a souped up version of a traditional jade roller and takes the faff out of your beauty regime. My skin felt noticeably smoother, more toned and lifted after just five minutes use. I'm sold.
