Thumbprint eyeliner, glossy skin and faux mohawks: These are the standout beauty looks from New York Fashion Week
We may have already waved goodbye to summer, but our days have been brightened up by the surge of beauty inspiration coming from New York Fashion Week. From colour popping wigs at Jeremy Scott, to kaleidoscope eyes at Oscar de la Renta and Anna Sui and animal-print nails, the season is serving up something to suit every one.
Plus, there's been so much amazing fashion on display, with micro-bags coming into their own, Tom Ford's metallic moulded bras and more pussy-bow blouses than we can keep count of.
But anyway, back to beauty - here, we take a look through the best of the makeup, hair and nail looks fresh from the runways of New York...

3.1 Phillip Lim
Hairstylist Gary Gill used Aveda to create a cool and sleek hair look for the 3.1 Phillip Lim SS20 runway show, while thumbprint eyeliner stole the show in terms of makeup.
Carolina Herrera
Redken Global Creative Director Guido Palau created a simple, slicked back look at Carolina Herrera. On the face, Bobbi Brown Lead Artist nodded to the 90s with flush of muted colour on lids and lips.
Adeam
NARS Global Artistry Director Sada Ito focussed on glowing skin, and a few bejewelled adornments around the eyes to match the collection.

We can always rely on the Jeremy Scott show to pack a punch, and this season was no different. Eugene Souleiman, Wella Professionals Global Creative Director, fitted models with electric, rock star wigs. Makeup artist Kabuki used MAC to paint on fierce eyeliner flicks and bold eyeshadows.
