35 ultimate Netflix Christmas movies to add to your list

Christmas is coming! And do you know what that means? Netflix Christmas movies, obviously. After you've devoured the turkey, finished the Quality Street, pulled the crackers and torn open your presents, now is the time to kickback on the sofa with your family and watch a film (or three).
Unsurprisingly, Netflix has a delicious selection on offer, with this year's additions including Jingle Bell Heist, A Merry Little Ex-Mas – starring Clueless actor Alicia Silverstone and Jameela Jamil – and My Secret Santa, which sees a certain Virgin River star masquerade as Father Christmas.

The Princess Switch 3: Romancing The Star
The Princess Switch has become a cult favourite ever since the first film dropped on Netflix back in 2018. Its third instalment is another festive flick, starring Vanessa Hudgens as both Chicago-based baker named Stacy De Novo and Margaret, the Princess of the fictitious kingdom of Belgravia. This time, she's adding yet another character to her one-woman show (again) as the film picks up where The Princess Switch 2 left off.
Although rest assured, she won't be adding a fourth one to the mix. The official synopsis reads: “When a priceless relic is stolen, Margaret and Stacy enlist the help of Fiona to retrieve it... and rekindle the sparks of a Christmas romance.”

Nina Dobrev plays unlucky-in-love LA writer Natalie Bauer who meets and falls for a guy on a dating app. However, she discovers she's been catfished after travelling all the way to the East Coast to surprise him for Christmas, and the story doesn't end there. Expect all the wholesome festive vibes and happy endings from this one, plus a voiceover from Nina that will take you back to her The Vampire Diaries days. Oh, the nostalgia!

An instant feel-good classic, Robin Robin is a coming-of-age tale about – you guessed it – a little robin. What you may not have guessed is that this little robin was raised by a family of mice, and she very much wants to be a mouse too. So much so that she's willing to make a wish on a Christmas star.
From the creators of Chicken Run and Shaun The Sheep, this family-friendly animation is guaranteed to warm your heart this festive season. Oh, and it stars Gillian Anderson as a cat.

Father Christmas Is Back
If you're a fan of Love Actually, you'll love this hilarious Christmas comedy, which sees four feuding sisters (including Elizabeth Hurley as Joanna and Talulah Riley as Vicky) converge on their Yorkshire mansion for a not-so-happy family reunion. To top it all off, their long-lost father has returned, bringing with him untold amounts of Christmas chaos. You just love to see it.
