Having launched her label officially in 2017 while she was still completing her Bachelor of Arts at the London College of Fashion, she'd only just shown at Fashion Week under the Fashion East umbrella - a non-profit talent incubator discovering and showcasing emerging fashion designers - in February 2020, one month before the UK's first lockdown.

Despite this, Nensi's label was catapulted into the limelight that August when Bella Hadid wore a look from the AW20 collection to the VMA awards.
