Proving this pair are firm best friends – Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman were each other’s dates at the 2015 NTAs. Flying the flag for Strictly Come Dancing the two TV hosts went for different looks, but kept a similar colour scheme. Tess opted for a monochrome jumpsuit, and Claudia chose a little black dress by Herve Leger.

The Kings of the tellybox reign supreme at the NTAs. The pair took to the stage twice at the awards show, taking home two awards. Ant and Dec scooped the Best Entertainment Presenter award for the 14th year in a row, beating Dermot O'Leary, Keith Lemon and Brad Walsh. Congrats boys!

Check out Alan Carr in his fancy suit at the NTAs. The Chatty Man presenter won the award for Best Chat Show Host. He later apologised to reporters for his “shit” acceptance speech and said he hadn’t prepared anything because he was convinced Graham Norton would take home the prize.

Broadchurch star David Tennant was honoured with a special recognition at the National Television Awards.
Dedicating the award to his dad, he said: “I grew up loving the telly, so thank you. The fact that I get to make part of my living from being on the telly is something I have to pinch myself about, to win a prize for it is something I have to compute."
He added: “But anything I have achieved is because talented and clever people gave me a job…Anyone who has ever given me a shot, thank you very much. And anyone who has ever let me into their screens on the telly – it’s a real honour, thank you.”
