Met Ball 2016: All the pics

Last night, the fashion world host one of the biggest, most glamorous, parties in the world - the 2016 Met Ball Gala.
This year's theme, Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology, looked at the distinction between garments created in the Haute Couture handmade process vs machine-made and was fully embraced. Celebrities turned out in their futuristic finery and the red carpet was awash with sparkles, silver and sequins.
Below we chart all the noteworthy looks of the night - from Gigi Hadid's Tommy Hilfiger floorlength gown to Claire Danes' fiber optic organza Zac Posen dress (yes you heard that right) - who do you think deserves the crown of best dressed?
