In the trailer for ITV's new documentary, Queen Of The World, we see the Duchess-to-be looking at her veil on the eve of her wedding to Prince Harry.

"53 countries oh my goodness, it will keep us busy," the Duchess laughs as she touches the veil, which had the flowers of all the countries in the commonwealth sewn into it (as she was to become a fellow youth ambassador for the Commonwealth alongside Harry).

And, despite it being the day before a wedding that the entire world would be watching, Meghan appears nerve-free and calm AF, which couldn't be said about us waiting to see that dress.

And After remaining tight-lipped for months, Stella McCartney has finally spoken about working with the royal.

Discussing why she believes she was hand-picked by the royal bride, Stella told ELLE: "I think Meghan chose me for reasons other than just a beautiful dress — plenty of people can do that. She is not a difficult client to make look beautiful."

The designer revealed it's not the first time Meghan has approached her for sartorial tips, saying: “[Meghan] approached me and we worked on other things. She wore other pieces of mine and we had a friendship.

“And then she asked me to do her second wedding dress. I was honoured and I still am.”

Stella, who also dressed Amal and Oprah for their big days, added: "Amal called me and asked me to do it, as did Oprah. I look at that Amal dress, and it is made of sustainable viscose that took us three years to develop.

“Obviously I am a British designer, but I think being a woman and being a women’s woman played a part. They are all women’s women. It’s a big deal."

Straight after the wedding, Givenchy's Clare Waight Keller also spoke about working with Meghan. "It is truly an honour to have been given the opportunity to closely collaborate with Meghan Markle on such a remarkable occasion," she said at the time.

"As a British designer at a Parisian Haute Couture house, and on behalf of all us at Givenchy who have been able to experience such an extraordinary process of creativity, I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished and grateful to Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and Kensington Palace for allowing us to be part of this historical chapter."

"It has been an immensely rewarding experience to get to know Meghan on a personal level, one I will forever carry with me. The House of Givenchy joins me in wishing her and Prince Harry every wish of happiness in their future."

And while the dress is an absolute masterpiece, it is the veil - also by Clare - that commanded attention.

Explaining the poignant meaning behind the five metre train, Givenchy said: "Ms. Markle expressed the wish of having all 53 countries of the Commonwealth with her on her journey through the ceremony. Ms. Waight Keller designed a veil representing the distinctive flora of each Commonwealth country united in one spectacular floral composition."

"The veil is five meters long and made from silk tulle with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers in silk threads and organza."

"Each flower was worked flat, in three dimensions to create a unique and delicate design. The workers spent hundreds of hours meticulously sewing and washing their hands every thirty minutes to keep the tulle and threads pristine."

"In addition to the flora of the Commonwealth, Ms. Markle also selected two personal favorites. Symmetrically placed at the very front of the veil, crops of wheat are delicately embroidered and blend into the flora, to symbolize love and charity."

Clare also revealed what Prince Harry thought of the dress. According to The Telegraph, Clare said: "He came straight up to me and he said 'oh my God, thank you, she looks absolutely stunning.'

"So I think for the both of them, they were just radiant at that time. "Well I think everybody saw on television - he was absolutely in awe, I think. She looked just incredible and it showed."
