19 pictures that prove Meghan Markle's style was very different before she met Prince Harry
Thanks to her major role in Suits and her (albeit brief) stint as a part of the British royal family, Meghan Markle has become one of the most well-known names in the world.
And while her acting prowess and charitable endeavours have no doubt earned her legions of fans and admirers across the globe, Meghan's sense of style has also become a source of joy and inspiration amongst the fashion crowd.
Whether she's plumping for high-end Erdem gowns or making a patriotic statement by opting for more low-key Canadian designers, Meghan's style knows no bounds. But, much like sister-in-law Kate Middleton, Meghan's sartorial aesthetic was a very different story before she joined 'The Firm'.
Back in the early 2010s, before meeting her now-husband, Prince Harry, Meghan's wardrobe consisted of pared back jeans, knitted sweaters and tailored co-ords that wouldn't look out of place in any other Hollywood celebrity's early-naughties wardrobe.
Fast forward a few years and Meghan began working closely with her then-stylist, Jessica Mulroney, with whom she forged a friendship on the set of Suits as she helped style Meghan's character for the show. Jessica was even the brains behind the wedding dress Meghan tied the knot in on the show.
As Meghan's star rose in Hollywood, Jessica was on hand to style her for red carpet appearances. It was even thought that Jessica helped style Meghan for the royal wedding and, as the photos attest, Jessica was on hand to chaperone Meghan's bridal party into the church. In fact, her twin boys, Brian and John, were page boys with Prince George and her daughter, Ivy, was a bridesmaid alongside Princess Charlotte.
The women may have since reportedly gone their separate ways, but it seems Meghan's keen eye on fashion remains.
