You can buy Meghan Markle's dress in M&S for £49
When it comes to dressing, the Duchess of Sussex is definitely a more high-end than high street girl, regularly stepping out in designs by Givenchy and Prada.
So, when Meghan Markle stepped out last week for the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall, alongside The Queen and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, wearing a fitted black dress, we all presumed it was just another bespoke designer piece.
However, we were wrong because one of Britain’s favourite department stores has officially laid claim to the dress, confirming it as one of their own.
Meghan, 37, wore a £49.50 dress from Marks & Spencer. The mother-to-be wore it under a Stella McCartney coat so it was hardly recognisable until she took her seat inside the venue.
The Double Crepe Bodycon Dress, which is still available in four sizes (and also comes in a scarlet-red hue) features an off-the-shoulder neckline with folds down the bust and falls to just below the knee.
The stretchy material proved to be perfect for the pregnant Duchess who is expecting her first child next year.
The store’s website describes the dress as the following:
