If you thought you recognised Meghan Markle's black dress, here's why...
Rarely one to step out of her safe space when it comes to style choices, Meghan Markle's latest look surprised those with their eye on the sartorial ball. Not because there was anything particularly risqué about it, but because we've spotted it before...
Designed by LA-based label Black Halo and labelled the 'Jackie-O', the dress features a flattering off-centre v-neck neckline and thin waist-belt with angular half-capped sleeves.
Paired with a Gucci bag, Meghan looked every inch the elegant modern day royal.
But where, we hear you cry, have we seen this look before?
Well, on a lot of people actually. One of Hollywood's most popular pieces, it has been spotted in varying shades worn by the likes of Tyra Banks, Blake Lively, Katherine Heigl, Fergie, Scarlett Johansson, Kelly Ripa... the list is endless.
But perhaps one of the most surprising sources of inspo so far for our royal-to-be, Meghan's dress was most memorably worn by the one and only Kim Kardashian.
Opting for a hue at the other end of the colour spectrum, Kim wore the flattering piece way back in 2007 for a magazine party.
Perhaps Meghan is saving the white version for the big day on May 19th? Perhaps not.
