Marilyn Monroe screen icon died in 1962, aged 36, but her legend lives on in her classic movies and timeless style (as anyone who's ever watched Some Like It Hot, or paired a red lip with a feline flick, will attest). She was the bombshell with a business brain (and impeccable comic timing) who fought to be taken seriously when Hollywood really didn't want her to be - all while rocking outfits and beauty looks that still inspire fashion, pop culture and us today.
