“First step: I'm going to slick all my hair back into a ponytail using the styling glue, baby hair styler and a hair brush to do that, and I'm then going to plait in the extensions. I'm a bit concerned because I have curly hair and the extensions are straight, but maybe some magic will happen.” Luca says.

She pulls her hair back into a ponytail and then applies Slick & Fix on top to smooth down any lumps and bumps that are left, creating a super seamless effect. She then goes over that with Slick Back Down to ensure there are no flyaways, and uses it to shape her edges.

“I'm happy with this bit for now,” Luca says. “I'm going to go in with the hair braid which is separated into three different sections already - which is super helpful - and then you've got this shorter bit to wrap around your ponytail. It also comes with some bobby pins and elastics to help you secure everything.”

Luca attaches the extension braid to her ponytail and begins plaiting, incorporating her natural hair with the synthetic piece.

“This is the final look. I'm actually really impressed. I knew that it was going to be a bit messy because my hair's curly, so obviously if I straightened it it would be a much sleeker look, but, for a first attempt…” she says, showing it from all angles. “The colour match is perfect - it blends in completely with my natural hair. I don't know how they do it, absolute wizards.”
