Kristen Stewart’s Beauty Secrets

Kristen Stewart isn't exactly a chatty Cathy, and we imagine an interview chatting about hair and beauty, for her, was like watching paint dry. But for us, we found it riveting. Kind of.

Don't get us wrong - Kristen Stewart doesn't necessarily reveal anything ground-breaking, but in an interview with The Cut, she fesses us about her skincare, haircare, and fragrance woes.

Ready? Here goes…

If you're a regular here on GLAMOUR, you'll have seen the pictures of Kristen with her cornrows - in this interview, she'd only just had them taken out, and K-Stew revealed she was a fan of the look, and wants them back: "They last about a week or so, if you are hard on your hair, which I am. I'll re-do it at some point. I liked having it. It's comfortable and keeps my hair out of my face. And I liked the way it looked. But you need to re-do it once a week, or else it will start to look gross. They were fuzzy."

We don't for one second think that Kristen Stewart's make-up bag is bulging at the seams, we have her down as a lip balm and a touch of mascara-type-of-girl, AND we were totally right: "I use mascara, eyeliner, and maybe some concealer. Chapstick. I don't like colour on my lips unless I'm doing full-on."

Interestingly, she reveals she's a fan of the "puffy" look: "When I'm not working, I have a really basic regimen. I don't think too much about my clothes [gesturing]. I don't wear a lot of makeup. I'm always striving to get to the point where I look like I've woken up in the last hour. You know that look you get when you're fresh-faced? You're a little puffy but looking really good? That's what I like."

Puffy? Sure.

Other interesting facts from her beauty interview include:

• She uses Kerastase hair products and opts for fully organic products.

• She's a fan of Proactiv skincare: "It works. It's really good. I've used it for a long time. I'm reliant on it. I use their three-step system."

• She really loves Florabotanica, the new Balenciaga fragrance, but then again, she is the face of the scent. But she really likes it, and not just because she's paid to say that: "Some perfumes just smell awful. They smell like your grandmother. This one never did to me. I genuinely use Flora all the time."
