Jojoba oil alternatives

If you find yourself among the small number of people who can’t tolerate jojoba oil, Dr Derrick suggests a few alternatives that can be used instead. “Argan oil, sweet almond oil and grapeseed oil all offer lightweight moisturising benefits and help soften the skin by supporting the skin barrier,” he says. “Although their textures and suitability can vary depending on skin type.” For oiler or acne-prone skin, try grapeseed oil, while drier skin types might prefer argan and sweet almond oil as alternatives.
