After a long old season, fashion month has finally hit its climax and arrived at its final destination in the city of love croissants.

While it may be just one of the world's four fashion capitals, Paris is known for hosting the undisputed kings and queens of street style.

Known for their timelessly chic aesthetic, Parisians provide endless sartorial examples of how to turn heads while remaining understated.

Teaming up with French Elle's former editor-in-chief, Lauren Bastide, Parisian model, actress and founder of fashion brand Rouje, Jeanne Damas, has compiled a book exploring Paris and profiling twenty women celebrating some of the characteristics that identify Parisians - divulging the city's best kept secrets.
