James Corden makes a feminist speech at the GLAMOUR Awards
Last night, James Corden picked up Man of the Year at the 2017 GLAMOUR Awards.
He was presented with the award by Liam Payne, who revealed some very funny stories about his long-time friend.
During his acceptance speech, James thanked GLAMOUR for being the first magazine to interview him and publish his work. The 2010 GLAMOUR Awards was also his first ever presenting gig - the start of an incredible career move which has seen him crack America as the host of The Late Late Show.
"I was thinking today that when I hosted this thing, it was the first thing I'd ever hosted in my life. And I remember thinking afterwards, 'I rather enjoyed that', and now that is part of my life and I'm very, very honoured to be back here."
He went on to thank a huge list of women including his wife Julia Carey, his daughter, mum, sister and Gavin & Stacey's Ruth Jones.
James also spoke about wearing Dior's iconic feminist t-shirt on the cover of GLAMOUR's July 2017 issue.

"The truth is, wearing that t-shirt on that magazine, it didn't even occur to me that it would be anything that would even be considered as brave, because I don't think it should be. I long for the day when it isn't a time where we talk about women's rights or equality or any of those things, and it would just be a matter of fact of the world that we're living in."

She had a speech and had a list of people she wanted to thank." We reckon she forgave him considering she went on Carpool (and is the most viewed one yet).

Speaking about James in return, Matthew said he is "still the same old James - he’s just being paid millions to chat to Hollywood megastars”.

James is reportedly worth a massive £10 million taking into account his success in the US.
It's a good thing, as the star was recently hit with a £709,395 tax bill after shutting down JK Corden Limited - a company which he’d opened in 2003 after Gavin and Stacey - which advisors managed to battle down to an undisclosed smaller sum.It shouldn't be too hard for him to pay it off.

The Los Angeles home - which has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms - has its own infinity pool, gym, and a deck overlooking the ocean with panoramic views.
We are SO jealous! James's new house also has a top graded chef's kitchen and its own elevator.
The house had been for sale for $24,000,000 but is thought to have been taken off the market now that it has been rented out to the Late Late Show television host.
