Insecure fans know and love Issa Rae and her strong, hilarious voice. She's rightfully earned many accolades for her work onscreen, and has proved time and time again that her incredible skill extends to other aspects of her self-expression — one of which is her fashion.

Rae has emerged as a force on the red carpet, one who not only seems to genuinely have fun with her styling (which she collaborates on with Jason Rembert), but who also recognizes the power of clothing (and, in the case of her black gown from the Golden Globes, how it can reflect your value system).
