Ariana Grande opens up about her relationship with Mac Miller
It's official, 2018 is the year of celebrity breakups. First, we saw Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux split, then Jenna and Channing called it a day and then, one of the cutest couples in pop, Ariana Grande and Mac Miller, also recently confirmed they were over.
And now Ariana has spoken candidly about the breakup - dubbing the relationship 'toxic', 'hard' and 'scary'.

Responding to him in a lengthy and emotional post, the star wrote:
"How absurd that you minimize female self-respect and self-worth by saying someone should stay in a toxic relationship because he wrote an album about them, which btw isn’t the case (just Cinderella is ab me). I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be."
"I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety and prayed for his balance for years (and always will of course) but shaming/blaming women for a man’s inability to keep his shit together is a very major problem. Let’s please stop doing that.
"Of course I didn’t share about how hard or scary it was while it was happening but it was. I will continue to pray from the bottom of my heart that he figures it all out and that any other woman in this position does as well."

Rumours began spreading at the start of May that the couple were on the rocks and then Ariana confirmed the news herself via Instagram Stories. She said,
"Hi! This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet Malcolm McCormick."
"I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us!"
She added: "Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it's not you.
"I can't wait to know and support you forever and I'm so proud of you!!"
It seems like not long ago that everyone thought they were going to tie the knot.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted Ariana what appeared to be an engagement ring during the One Love Manchester concert.
The pop star was joined on stage by Mac Miller as they performed at the memorial charity gig.
Ariana and Mac go way back, having collaborated on her track 'The Way', in 2013, and it seems as though they're not letting the end of a relationship get in the way of their friendship.
