Fake your way to a brand new hair style
Are you constantly feeling bored of your hair cut and tired of your style and colour? We can definitely relate. The problem is, changing your hair can seem so well, permanent. What we really need is a commitment-free, temporary way to mix up our hairstyle which are utterly stress-free.
And that's where these handy hair hacks come in! From the faux- bob to temporary pastel hair dyes, there are several different ways to reinvent your look without having to spend too much time and money.
You know what they say, fake it 'til you make it...
GettyFake your way to a... bob. The 'faux-bob' made a bit of a comeback recently following Gigi Hadid's seriously convincing American Music Awards style. We were all sure that Gigi had actually cut off her long locks, but the star later revealed the style was in fact fake.
Recreate the look: Hairtrade.com suggests the following: "Simply divide your hair into two loose, low pigtails, then tuck the ends securing with pins. Next, place another bobby pin through the whole pigtail to secure and repeat on the other side."

Emma Watson. Unlike Gigi's seemingly blunt cut, her style was more obviously fake as her longer hair had been tucked up in a shorter style, but still looked chic and had a vintage feel to it.

Rex FeaturesFake your way to... a new hair colour. A bold new hair colour is always appealing, especially when you're feeling bored and tired of your current shade. A temporary pastel shade provides the biggest change with the least commitment.
Recreate the look: This one's easy, although you may need a friend for application help, and maybe some moral support and encouragement! Simply pick up your desired pastel temporary dye and apply to the hair. We like dyes from Bleach London and Fudge.

GettyFake your way to a... new fringe. Cutting a fringe in can be so appealing but bangs take a lot of maintenance and can be a nightmare to grow out if you decide you want to ditch the look.
Recreate the look: A clip-in fringe is your best bet. However, if you don't want to spend any money, Hairtrade.com suggests the following technique:"First brush out your hair into a high ponytail then take a small section from it and bring it forward to create the bangs. Pin them into place according to the length you want.
Next, spritz your ponytail with dry shampoo for texture and fan out the hair, twisting round into a bun which you can secure with bobby pins. Use a curling tong to lift your fringe from the roots and add volume."
