If this year has left you drained and you’re feeling in need of a little pick me up before Christmas kicks off - join the club. 2021 seems to have gone by in the blink of an eye and left us wanting, and now we’re back and working from the office again - somewhat - I think it’s safe to say we’re all in need of a good ol’ holiday. Of course, we’ve got the festive season to save for, so that got me immediately searching for hotel deals for last-minute winter breaks.
Alongside all the discount codes we have on site, lined up and ready for whenever you’re booking a holiday, not just a last-minute one, I’ve found 11 hotel deals both in the UK and abroad. Now that travel restrictions have pretty much lifted entirely, there’s nothing keeping us from hopping on a plane for a weekend trip to a European city.
The prospect of any sun or heat has diminished (unless you go really far flung), so you’ll still need to pack your knitwear, coats, winter boots and possibly a couple of scarves into your suitcase or weekend bag. Getting away from your own four walls is what truly makes it a holiday though, not the weather, plus who doesn’t love wrapping up in a puffer coat while exploring a new town or city?
Booking.com has a variety of hotels on offer at the moment, so I’ve made sure to include all the ones with the best ratings. The H10 hotel near London Waterloo is ideal for mini breaks to the capitol, mainly for its location but also for its city views and modern interiors. Right now you can get a double or twin room with a view across Lambeth for as little as £243 rather than the usual £285 - what are you waiting for?
Elsewhere, you could save up to 50% off last minute deals at Expedia through our Expedia discount codes. Book a two night stay at either The Dunstane Houses in Edinburgh for £556 instead of £618, or at Marine & Spa North Berwick for £440 instead of £518. Bargain!
