H&M just unveiled its spring collection - and if you're into super chic tonal neutrals then this one's for you
If you're anything like us, you're likely taking today's bright (albeit chilly) sunshine as the official sign that spring is on its way. If you're feeling slightly less optimistic, may we alert you to the fact that the spring equinox is tomorrow, and therefore today is officially the last day of winter.
Now that we're all on the same page and in agreement that spring is (almost) in the air, it's high time we started to consider what that means.
Of course it means longer, lighter evenings. It means weekends on the balcony/in the garden rather than the sofa. It means lowering the central heating and perhaps starting to open the windows and letting the fresh air in without turning to ice at your WFH desk. But, of course, it also inevitably means a slight wardrobe adjustment.

Admittedly the continuation of lockdown - in it various forms and tiers - for the time being delays the need for an entire seasonal overhaul, but for those of us growing increasingly tired of our winter loungewear the new season provides us with the perfect excuse to mix things up a little.
Never failing to read our minds, H&M has today revealed its spring collection - and it's bursting with super chic, comfortable staples in bang-on-trend tonal neutrals.
From a classic cream, lightweight trench coat to vest-and-shorts loungewear sets and an asymmetric black strappy mini dress that will inevitably be one of the first pieces to sell out, this is a collection of contemporary silhouettes bursting with minimalist 90s detailing.

But it's not just the aesthetic that's commendable when it comes to H&M's spring drop. The high street stalwart has made another bold step forward in its sustainability efforts by scaling up some of the brilliant, innovative fabrics introduced through its many Conscious Exclusive collections over the years.
Proving the success of the sustainable initiative as an incubator for new technologies and materials, Agraloop™ Biofibre™, Tencel™ and other organic and recycled fabrics are now making their way into H&M's much larger mainline offering which is a huge step forward toward H&M's ambitious aim to only use 100% recycled or other sustainably sourced materials by 2030.
