While we may have welcomed the unexpected but undisputed resurgence of loungewear this year with open arms, there's something about December that doesn't feel quite right without a little sartorial extravagance.
Sure, we won't be testing our stamina with six 'Christmas party' nights out on the trot, nor will we be stuffing our faces with turkey amidst thirty other members of our 'close' family or ringing in the new year with a midnight kiss with a stranger (side note: how much does that sort of behaviour feel like another life right now?), but that's no reason to forgo yourself at least some of the typical festive pleasures.
In fact, with this December lacking so much in the way of Christmas traditions, we'd argue that it's even more important this year to adhere to the ones we're able to.
