High gladiator sandals are back, but is anyone except Kendall Jenner actually ready?

With the likes of Kendall and Kylie Jenner and the rest of the Kardashian clan making strides in high-leg summer sandals, it's no wonder our spies at Google are telling us it's the trend everyone seems to be searching.

With an abundance of options on the high street and countless options from designer labels the selection of these strappy numbers are endless. But, we aren't without questions - do they suit all legs? How hard are these bad boys to get on? Will I need a team of ten to get me in and out of them? How do they even stay up? Do they actually cut off your blood circulation from your feet?

But if actual gladiators and Roman soldiers used to wear them in combat without moaning, then perhaps we should pipe down. Today's incarnations often come with a helpful zip, which ensure that they stay up at least.
