Helen George claps back at bodyshamers who commented on her appearance in Call The Midwife
Whatever happened to "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"? One Twitter user obviously didn't get the memo, as he decided to shame Call The Midwife star Helen George after Sunday night's episode.

The troll chose to comment on her weight, clearly ignoring the fact that she was actually carrying a human child during most of the filming for the series eye roll - AND we might add, she looks absolutely glorious.
Despite being told by another user that she was pregnant, he continued on his tirade of body shaming.
Honestly, where do these people get off? Not determined to let it get to her, Helen clapped back with a seriously sassy response and we are LIVING for it.

Many of her followers were impressed with her comeback and her desire to defend pregnant women, who are often shamed into getting 'back to their pre-baby weight' in an unreasonable amount of time.

Helen and her Call the Midwife co-star Jack Ashton welcomed their daughter Wren Ivy in October 2017. She arrived early, and was even able to attend her own baby shower! Helen suffered from ICP throughout her pregnancy and has been vocal about supporting charities that work to help women who need support.
Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) is also known as obstetric cholestasis (OC) and affects around 5,500 women a year in the UK. ICP occurs when the flow of bile, which is produced in the liver and stored in the gallbladder, becomes sluggish. The bile acids in bile help us to digest food, but they are toxic in large amounts. As the flow of bile slows down, these bile acids build up and flow into the bloodstream. They are not life-threatening for the mother-to-be, but they do cross the placenta and reach the baby.
Thankfully, little Wren is getting along just fine.
