Grammys 2014: Hair & Beauty

From Beyoncé's reverse ombre bob to Rita Ora's Hollywood siren styling, see all the hair & beauty highlights from the Grammys 2014.

Queen Bey lands on top of the Grammys 2014 beauty pile thanks to a wavy mane of undone ombre locks and a beautiful berry pout.
Over to hair hero Errol Douglas: "A Grammy red carpet veteran that never disappoints, here Mrs Carter has gone for an edgier afro take on a Gatsby-esque wave. It doesn't detract from the dramatic gown and is given dimension with reverse ombre at the roots. Her well hydrated natural hair has been quickly rough dried for minimal impact on moisture levels (try my infrared dryer for an inside out speedy dry), very lightly tonged and combed out."
Rex FeaturesKaty Perry
Katy Perry works an altogether more high maintenance aesthetic. A picture-perfect glossy roped bun is the star of this look, but it doesn't detract too much from her natural eye and lip palette.
Errol says: "Katy’s big bold up do, complete with stunning braided hairpiece, let's this Valentino gown literally sing. This Grammy Girl gets it right. Great shine built into her perfectly brushed back hair allows the braid to pop."
We couldn't agree more.
Rex FeaturesRita Ora
Is this Rita Ora's best red carpet beauty look to date? Quite possibly. We love the springy vintage blonde waves teamed with metallic eye shadow and a soft pink lip.
Stunning.
Errol Douglas agrees: "My favourite look of the night – hands down. Brunette mid-length Rita Hayworth is 'Ora'd' into platinum shoulder kissing glossy sexy set waves bringing young edge to vintage. Perfect for that high glitz Lanvin choice too.
Tong from ear to ends, pin each up as you go along (leave pinned for as long as you can before heading out), then carefully (and VERY gently) rake out each curled section with fingers, hold with non texture changing hairspray."
PA PhotosTaylor Swift
Girly and sugary sweet, Taylor Swift's beauty look suggests that butter wouldn't melt, thanks the soft and feminine palette of pretty pinks and gorgeous greys. The undone ponytail frames the look perfectly.
Rex FeaturesKelly Osbourne
If ever we could be persuaded that a choppy lavender bob is a beauty look worth trying, this is it.
Kelly Osbourne teams the alternative shade with a winged black liner and a hot pink lipstick shade. A brave beauty masterpiece.
PA PhotosMadonna
Aside from the teeth grill (not shown), we very much approve of this quintessential beauty look from Madonna. Red lips and beautiful blonde waves - you can't go wrong.
PA PhotosPink
Edgy and cool, Pink sticks to her own alternate beauty script with a funky peroxide crop, a nude lip and kohl-rimmed eyes. Fierce but oh-so feminine.
Rex FeaturesCiara
Ciara sticks to the metallic theme in the beauty department with glittery gold shadow and a soft, shimmery lipstick. The look is softened with her lightly tonged locks.
Rex FeaturesIggy Azalea
Iggy Azalea works a head-turning combination of wet-look liner and a complementary glistening pink pout. The slicked back blonde hair is the perfect finishing touch.
PA PhotosLorde
Dark, moody and so now, singer Lorde offers up a dramatic red carpet look, combining a thick mane of raven locks and a deep purple lipstick.
Rex FeaturesAnna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick nails girl-next-door glamour thanks to her tumbling brunette curls and flawless make-up. Proof that low-key beauty can make a big impact.
Rex FeaturesSarah Hyland
Modern Family star Sarah Hyland trials grown-up glamour in the form of an undone chignon, a light dusting of powder pink blusher and a berry pout.
