Grammy Awards Hair & Make-up

The Grammy Awards 2013 wasn't just a big night for music; we saw some gorgeous celebrity hair and beauty looks on the red carpet. Slick, straightened hair was one hot look with big bouncy curls on the other side of the ring. Find out who rocked our night.

All eyes were on Rihanna at the Grammy Awards so it was just as well she was smokin' hot. Ri Ri went all 'super-size me' with her hair, boasting beautiful big long curls. With her divine red dress and matching red lipstick she was clearly the belle of the ball. The starlet also guaranteed her nails were fiercely hot with a custom nail polish by her manicurist Kimmy Kees: "Rihanna wanted to match her dress perfectly so we blended two colours - Ooo La Liscious and Red Carpet Ready - to come up with the perfect shade."
PA PhotosAdele
Best Pop Solo Performance Grammy winner Adele stuck to her signature hair style, a tousled up-do with pretty wispy locks framing her face, along with her super glam eye make-up and subtle lips and cheeks. When you’ve mastered a look this good, why change? Michael Ashton, Adele's hair and beauty guru, said: "When it comes to creating Adele's red carpet looks, I like to take references from classic styling, films and iconic images then reinterpret them with my own aesthetic. This gives an end look that is polished and current, but also softly elegant and timeless."
PA PhotosBeyoncé
GLAMOUR’s first lady of music Beyoncé worked a slightly more serious look for the awards. The black and white all-in-one trouser suit, killer heels, red lips and super straight hair tied back in a ponytail. Just. So. Pretty.
PA PhotosJennifer Lopez
Another day, another incredible look from J Lo. For the Grammys she’s worked her hair into a rather small and tidy topknot that would quite possibly look ridiculous on us mere mortals, but you know – if you’re a goddess, then you can kind of do what you want with your hair, right?
PA PhotosKelly Osbourne
Kelly must have borrowed Beyoncé’s straighteners and wow – we LOVE her purple hair, super straight and slicked back into a ponytail. Hair, make-up, dress, jewels all bang-on. Nice work Miss O.
Rex FeaturesKaty Perry
There’s something a little bit Elizabeth Taylor about Katy’s very grown-up look tonight. It’s not just the 1960s vibe the dress oozes, the big hair and classic make-up do too. Looks amazing, although surely there’s plenty time for kind of older glamour in later years, we’re thinking Katy.

Grrrreat dress, make-up and hair. Kelly’s bangs are looking particularly perfect this evening with some very organised mess going on.

Taylor Swift
Taylor’s trademark plaits, neat fringe, kohled eyes and subtle lips work perfectly with the hot dress code of the night – a little bit Grecian non?
Rex FeaturesSolange
Solange works some serious size into her afro ‘do for the awards, and as ever pulls it off magnificently. With a natural make-up look and beautiful green dress, our girl crush continues.
PA PhotosAlicia
That up-do looks like it could take on any weather on Alicia. She’s clearly worked some serious product into her tidy quiff, which quite simply rocks alongside her barely-there dress and smoking hot red lips. Wowzers.
PA PhotosFlorence
If you can tear your eyes away from the crazy Givenchy green dress, you’ll notice that quite sensibly, Florence has opted for a more relaxed messy up-do and her trademark pale skin and red lips make-up. The overall look has a strong romantic gothic vibe, which we have come to expect (and love) from the singer.
