Big Titanic jewels shined at the Golden Globes so maybe the old lady didn't drop it in the ocean at the end?
This weekend's Golden Globes red carpet may have hosted some seriously major dresses (Jodie Comer! Nicole Kidman in Versace! Saoirse Ronan in Celine! Zoey Deutch in Fendi! Jennifer Aniston in Dior! We could go on...), but once we caught our breath and began analysing the closer details it became clear that there was one memo that reached every attendee.
Bypassing the blinding diamonds than have proven popular at previous awards ceremonies, this year saw an abundance of coloured stones that confirmed our theory that they're having a huge resurgence right now.
Cynthia Erivo, Zoey Deutch and Ana de Armas were early arrivals on the Golden Globes 2020 red carpet, all of whom were decked out in such beautifully show-stopping sapphires that GLAMOUR HQ momentarily squealed at the possibility of it foreshadowing a Titanic sequel.
We then remembered the film's ending and the fact that this would be almost impossible, so settled on the fact that it must merely be the reincarnation of a major trend in its purest form. We thought the old lady dropped it in the ocean at the end - perhaps she did NOT!

Cementing that theory were the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, Charlize Theron and Sofia Carson, who all followed suit by opting for coloured stones over the more predictable diamond.
