Emily Blunt, Lady Gaga and Julia Roberts lead the best dressed guests on the Golden Globes Red Carpet
The Christmas crackers have been pulled, your New Year's Eve dress is (about to be) washed, and the January blues have well-and-truly kicked in, but fear not... the fun's not over yet.
Awards season kicked off tonight, with the Golden Globes marking the first in a long line (two months long, to be precise) of show-stopping ceremonies.
Hosted by Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg, the evening was always set to be as glitzy an affair as ever, with the likes of Lady Gaga, Nicole Kidman, Emily Blunt, Charlize Theron and Claire Foy all up for nominations.
Last year's Golden Globes red carpet held particular significance, as the first big awards show to take place as the powerful Me Too movement and Time's Up campaign gained traction. And while this year's may not have the same black dress code, there have already been subtle nods to the ongoing work of those addressing and fighting against sexual harassment and gender inequality in the industry.
Some of our favourite stars donned Time's Up bracelets, which were designed by Arianne Phillips with proceeds going towards the Time’s Up legal defense fund. The fund has connected around 4,000 men and women with necessary legal resources to fight workplace harassment.
Keep an eye on this page as we update it with red carpet highlights throughout the evening...
