This year's Golden Globes played host to a serious sartorial statement.
Continuing on through to the after party, many of the actresses forwent the traditional outfit change in order to reiterate the powerful impact of their earlier red carpet blackout.
Joining the likes of Best Actress Saoirse Ronan, Millie Bobby Brown and Eva Longoria at the after party, Emily Ratajkowski, Miranda Kerr and Vanessa Hudgens arrived in their finest black gowns in a show of solidarity.
With stunted creative freedom when it came to choosing the dress, it fell to attendees' hair and makeup to do most of the talking.
