The very best glamping huts, yurts and pods with their very own hot tubs to book for an idyllic staycation
Summer holidays are getting ever closer – and wow, do we need one more than ever. A full year on since Coronavirus restrictions came in, has meant a year of uncertainty, financial turmoil, loss and heightened mental health struggles, so the idea of escaping to somewhere new and exciting is seriously high up on our agenda right now. However, holidays abroad seem like they may be put on hold (again), so that means searching for novel experiences right here on home soil.
Staycations after all, are pretty great. Not only a less expensive option, old Blighty actually has some of the most beautiful spots in the world, and plenty of hidden gems - and experiences - most of us have yet to try. We've already rounded up unique Airbnbs worth booking, but if you’re looking to recreate your annual festival feeling (minus the bands and shared bathrooms that is) or wanting to try something new, glamping is the way to go. And what’s even better than glamping? Glamping with your very own hot tub. Picture the scene – a rustic but stylish yurt/hut/pod with no one around for miles, and you sipping glass of rose in a hot tub as you look over the country views. D-R-E-AM-Y. Who needs Mykonos anyway?

Even for those used to 5-star luxury, the appeal of glamping can't be denied. Especially when you have a nosy at the sites we've rounded up - and yes all of them, miraculously still have availability over the coming months (for now that is.) We've found the cosiest glamping pod in the South Shropshire Hills that's been finished like Soho Farmhouse, a tiny but perfectly designed wooden hut overlooking Snowdonia and a yurt with a luxury Jazz Age feel - each one with a hot tub to lie back in and star gaze, whilst you spend some QT with your other half or have a long overdue catch up with your bestie.
So what are you waiting for? We'd suggest stocking up on a few good books, packing your (now well worn) hiking boots, and getting your glamp on - oh and don't forget your swimwear for all those hot tub evenings.
