I’ll be honest, I didn’t think I needed another lip oil in my life – but this one proved me wrong. The soft pink tint is subtle in the best way, giving just enough colour to make my lips look healthy and nourished without feeling overdone. They look hydrated and plump straight away, and because it’s infused with collagen, they actually feel healthier the more I use it. It’s smooth (so no hair stuck to lip situ), and I like to put on a thicker layer at night so it doubles as an overnight mask.

We can’t fix the weather (sadly), but this fragrance really does feel like summer in a bottle. One spray and you’re hit with orange and bergamot – fresh, bright, very Aperol on a terrace in Italy vibes. I’ve tried more primers than I can count, and most of them end up shoved to the back of my beauty cabinet. This one from Avant is different. Yes, it keeps the foundation in place (and I’m always here for that), but it’s the formula that makes it special. They’re so easy to apply and I love that you can control the look you’re going for. For daytime, I’ll add a few of the brown lashes to the outer corners for a soft, natural finish. If I’m going out out, I switch to the black clusters and build them up for a bolder lash look that still feels really lightweight. Pro tip: apply with a tweezer to make your life so much easier.
Brushworks No. 6 Double Ended Powder & Buff Brush, £8.99
Let’s be honest, if you’re makeup obsessed like me, your bag is probably overflowing – so finding one tool that does the job of two is a serious win. One end of this brush is fluffy and perfect for setting powder or sweeping on bronzer, while the other is dense enough to buff in foundation or cream blush. Basically, it’s an all-in-one that makes getting ready so much easier, and it’s become one of my most-used tools. We’re all guilty of leaving our makeup brushes way too long between cleans (me included).
