Gap celebrates International Women's Day

We are truly behind the celebration of International Women's Day on 8 March and if we needed any more reason to support we can get ourselves to Gap.com to purchase the brand's new line of limited edition T-shirts, £19.95 and a collection of sandals by Ix Style, £64.95. Bonus.

Ix Style employs and empowers local Mayan female artisans in Guatemala to craft the sandals and for every pair of sandals purchased the money is donated to provide clean drinking water for women and children in Guatemala.

GAP will donate $10,000 from the sale of the t-shirts to CARE to support their efforts to advance women around the globe. CARE provides training support for the Gap's P.A.C.E programme (Personal Advancement & Career Enhancement).
