This Game of Thrones theory about Sansa and Arya would be EPIC if it's true
Warning: Game of Thrones spoilers ahead.
We're knee-deep in the seventh season of Game of Thrones , which means the fan theories are popping up online left and right (much as Jon Snow popped up from the dead in season six). Most of them are ridiculous, but a few have merit—like this one about Sansa and Arya, which recirculated on Reddit after Sunday's episode ("Stormborn"). We all remember from "Stormborn" that Arya decides to go back to Winterfell after realizing her brother/cousin is alive. (She found this out from Hot Pie.) That being said, this theory suggests GoT has actually been hinting at Arya's return home for a while now—long before "Stormborn" or Hot Pie's confession.
Here's the evidence: Do you remember when Arya killed the Waif during her training with the Faceless Men? After this happened, Jaqen H'ghar said, "Finally a girl is no one," to which Arya replied, "A girl is Arya Stark of Winterfell, and I'm going home." Refresh your memory in the video (below) if you forgot. (And it's totally understandable if you did. GoT is wacky.)
Now, compare this with when Jon Snow told Sansa he wouldn't let Ramsay Bolton hurt her again. Sansa coldly replied, "No one can protect me. No one can protect anyone." At first watching, these two scenes don't have anything in common—but what if Sansa wasn't really referring to no one when she said "no one"? What if this was code for "Arya"? (The first scene essentially equates the term "no one" with Arya.) Perhaps Sansa was really saying that Arya is en route to Winterfell to protect her (and, well, everyone). She does live in Winterfell, after all.
Granted, this hypothesis is contingent on two very basic words having a special, secret meaning. Sansa could've just been expressing her fear of Ramsay Bolton—but that's no fun. Game of Thrones is so cryptic and complicated that a theory like this is totally possible.

They hang together a lot outside of work, which proves how well they get on. Thrones filming can go on for months at a time, y'know...
