TRENDING: Fringing

This season is all about fringing. From skirt hems, to denim jackets, shorts to totes - whether you're channeling a 20s flapper vibe or a Midwest cowgirl, the designers are going crazy for the swing.

Seen on the catwalks of Celine, Alberta Ferretti, Proenza Schouler, Gucci and Emilio Pucci, the brands fringed leather, suede, PVC and denim, bringing boho back better than ever.

If you're not down for full on fringe but want to be in on the trend, throw on a fringed jacket for a one-off statement piece or pair your outfit with some fringed boots. If, however, it is right up your street, get your full-length sliced and diced dress on for a night out or wear jeans with edging right down the legs (seriously eye catching).

We do warn you though, the one thing to be careful with the trend is to be selective with materials. There are some amazing highstreet pieces in faux leather and suede but you've got to make sure their not too synthetic - fringing can look seriously cheap if used on the wrong material.
