Festival Beauty: Graphic Eyes

GLAMOUR.com's Jenn Selby gets a festival makeover from MAC senior artist Debbie Finnegan in the Virgin Media Louder Lounge at V Festival 2012.
Follow Debbie's step-by-step guide as she talks us through this season's graphic eye trend, and gives the look a sparkly seasonal twist.
Nina Simone LaurieSTEP ONE
In the heat of the festival, use minimal foundation. Prep skin with Fix + for instant moisture. Touch up skin using Prolongwear Foundation (£24) and Prolongwear Concealer (£14.50). Debbie says: "These products will last the elements, whatever the weather."
Products used throughout are all by M∙A∙C.
Nina Simone LaurieSTEP TWO
On the eyes: Paint Pot in Bare Study (£14.50); Eyeshadow in Vanilla (£12); Eye Kohl in Engraved (£14); Fluidline in Blacktrack (£14); Zoom Waterfast Lash (£14)
Apply Bare Study all over the lid before blending Vanilla up towards the brow-line.
Nina Simone LaurieSTEP THREE
Take Eye Kohl in Engraved and draw a soft line through the eye socket line. Blend over the Eye Kohl to blur out any hard lines, heading out towards the ear which will create a feline effect.
Using Fluidline in Blacktrack with a #211 Pointed Liner Brush, create a smooth black line along the upper lash line.
Nina Simone LaurieSTEP FOUR
Debbie's top tip: "Soak a cotton tip in concealer or foundation and use it to correct any mistakes."
Nina Simone LaurieSTEP FIVE
Debbie says: "Fold the side lashes with mascara to follow the shape of the eye and then do the same thing with the lower lashes."
Nina Simone LaurieSTEP SIX
Add Viva Glam II (£14) on the lips for a soft, pink finish that looks great on medium skin tones.
Nina Simone LaurieSTEP SEVEN
Time for the glitter! Apply Violet Pigment (£16.50) into the shape created by the liner and then using a flat powder brush apply Liner Mixing Medium (£10.50) over the colour, before pressing on Purple Glitter (£16.50) and Red Reflex (£16.50). Tape off any extra glitter.
Nina Simone LaurieTHE LOOK
Time to sparkle! Debbie says: "This look is about taking a trend from the catwalk and finding your comfort zone. Have fun with it."
Another beautiful weekend in Louder Lounge with M∙A∙C. Until next year...
