This surprising eyeshadow shade looks great on everyone
There's one particular eyeshadow shade out there that makeup artists seem to agree suits everyone, from skin tone to eye colour, it will make you look like your best self. Speaking to an InStyle, makeup artist Ashlee Glazer of Pucker confirmed, this shade is truly universal.
And the winner is... drum roll please: ROSE GOLD!
"Because it's not too gold and not too silver,” the shade will suit all complexion undertones. It really makes sense! Remember that old jewellery trick grannies seem to swear by to know what colours will suit you best?
You basically put a piece of gold jewellery and a piece of silver jewellery on your wrist and see what colour makes your skin "glow". If it's silver, you have cold complexion undertones, therefore light/cold colours will suit you best. If it's gold, bold/warmer colours will suit you best. If both seem to make your skin colour pop you probably have neutral undertones (yay, you!).
Rose gold then is the common denominator, since it's right there in-between gold and silver, like Ashlee mentioned. It's no wonder the colour was such a BIG hit on the SS18 runways and in the A-lists beauty looks - seriously, they luuurv it.
You should definitely invest in it, it's basically a guaranteed beauty win.
