VV's First Outfit: I am wearing an elegant vintage black dress from vvvintage.com
VV's Diary: Can you feel it? The excitement is in the air like a combustion chamber, ready to explode through the clicking of stiletto heels, structured shoulder pads, floral prints and eccentric hats. London Fashion Week has arrived: it's the "peacock palace" where we all show of our best glam rags and meet the new trends. As you read on, Im sure you're wondering who this rambling women is - well, my name is VV Brown. Nice to meet you. I am a musician, by introduction, the model from Marks and Spencer and the Managing Director of my own online fashion store, vvvintage.com. I shall be blogging over the next few days through the hectic schedule, sending you pictures, as well as tweeting like a frantic bird. Follow me as I move to each show, giving you all the latest gossip on what's new and exciting from the biggest shows to the up-and-coming designers.

My primary forecasts for Fashion Week are digital kaleidoscopic prints, kaleidoscopic floral patterns, clashing bright colours for the summer, loose, structured womenswear and exaggerated shapes. I'll be keeping a sharp eye out for the the newest trends.

LFW Outfit Two
The sun came up, the toast was put in the toaster, and the clothes were neatly laid on the edge of my bed. As I stepped out of the car I took a deep breath and prepared for the first day of Fashion Week. The first show: Felder & Felder.

GoRunwayShows Galore
Felder Felder are a family duo, identical twin sisters to be exact, and are fast building a cult following. Artists such as Florence and the Machine, Rihanna and Gwyneth Paltrow continue to be fans of the designers and there bold aesthetics have led to another amazing collection for this years Fashion Week.
The collection expressed itself through beautiful burnt oranges, reds and browns, with an amazing dye look. Flashes of gold and a flowing feel within the fabric made it feel feminine and romantic. It was most definitely all about the skirts and all-in-one catsuits. It felt really elegant and warm. Something that us ladies will be dreaming of wearing come spring.
Celebs such as Alexandra Burke and Zara Martin could be seen gracing the front Row.

We were then entertained by the reputable PPQ. It was a wonderful surprise to see a bicycle being pushed down the runway - which was fun. Black was a consistent colour and a sense of drama was in the collection. Our fav was the black hooded number.
We finished at Central St Martins. Out of all the shows I was most excited about seeing this show as vvvintage.com works with a lot of emerging designers from this university, through our Design With Oxfam program.
The designers Luke Brooks and Craig Green won the L'Oreal Professional 2012 awards and their collections were show-stopping. Keep an eye out for these two. Gorgeous.

LFW Day Two
The second day of fashion week came and went in a flash. It started off with a graceful warm friendly brunch. The brunch was put on by Esthetica, which is a part of the British Fashion Council that promotes sustainability in fashion. We were then introduced and graced by "The Godfather" of upcycling Doctor Noki. For those of you who may not know who he is he is the main man for upcycling second hand pieces of clothing and turning them into amazing new extravaganzas. We love him here at VVVintage.
I then whisked over to Henry Holland (I quickly put on my boyfriends trainers on to make sure I didn’t pinch my toes in my Miu Miu heels) and managed to get there, a little flushed and slightly late, but excited that I was going to see one of the main attractions of Fashion Week. As soon as the car arrived, the heels where back on. Henry Holland did not disappoint and nor did the Parisian building the show was housed in. The theme was Graphic prints, dogtooth patterns with bright colours and a very sophisticated take on the collection. My absolute favourite was the blue coat with faux fur arms flowing.
Fantastical Kinder
Another highlight was the Kinder Aggugini show. The use of exaggerated hats in lovely pinks and blues and glamorous dresses with contrasting textures gave me goosebumps. It took you down a journey of glamour, androgynous fantastical and tailored chic.
The front row was glowing with celebs such as Dionne Bromfield and the amazing up and coming singer Yasminne and Alexa Chung who looked absolutely stunning in a pair of graphic printed silk trousers.
Another Day, Another Look
Today I wore a black coat over a lace dress. The coat is a unisex piece and can be worn by both men and women.

Kanye Hysteria
It was quite a quiet day in regards to Fashion week as vvvintage.com was all geared up for an interview with the amazing Rita Ora a hot up and coming artist who went number one today! Congratulations Rita!!! However the 2 shows that we went to where amazing. Fred Butler was by far one of my favourite shows of the Fashion Week. Psychedelia is something that Fred is best known for. Artists such as Bjork, Nicki Minaj and others have worn her amazing items and we can understand why. Tank Top-Ranking, Tongue-Tied and Twisted' is the name of her collection and with the amazing sushi sweet gift we received in our goody bags, you could tell there was a Japanese influence to the collection.

Sweet Shows
Secondly, we moved on to the Mark Fast show, another designer on everyones lips. Who graced the front row ? Well the king of the ball was Kanye West. In addition to the celebrity attractions, the show was full of amazing uses of beautiful greys and the use of layered crochet. My favourites were the pink glamorous dresses that had a sense of sexiness and femininity - undeniably hard to ignore! Plus, the graphic prints reminded me of Doctor Zeus or the Twilight Zone.
