The Emmy Awards 2016: 19 looks everyone's talking about
The 2016 Emmy Awards took place in Los Angeles last night, where some of the world's most genetically gifted men and women came together to party.

Wow! Emily Ratajkowski knows how to kill it on the red carpet, doesn’t she!? We’ve seen her in a few skin-baring dresses lately, but for the 2016 Emmy Awards the actress went for a classic Zac Posen Resort gown. Stunning!

She loves a glam frock, this one! Claire Danes was determined to turn heads at the Emmy Awards in her gold Schiaperelli Haute Couture dress. There is one thing that stops this look from being a full on ten though, and that’s her tan. We think someone might have overdone it.

A daring look for Modern Family's Sarah Hyland! The actress gave high fashion a go with a Monique Lhuillier resort look which was made up of a dipped hem dress and a pair of trousers underneath. We’ll give her an A for effort but we’d have gone for a lighter colour trouser and a more exciting shoe. But still, way to go for taking a red carpet risk.

If we saw this dress on the hanger we’d probably say ‘that’s SO Sofia Vergara’ - she has a signature red carpet style and there’s nothing wrong with that. The Modern Family star chose an Atelier Versace one-shouldered dress with embellishment. We think the earrings could be a tad too much, but Sofia’s so fabulous usual rules need not apply.

Yas! Bring it! Taraji P. Henson from Empire is a pro at red carpet dressing – she rarely gets it wrong, and for the Emmy Awards she nailed it with her Vera Wang custom yellow dress. The bold hue, the natural hair and makeup and the personalised Edie Parker clutch is all sheer perfection.

Ok, what's this? We're scratching our head over this barrel-esque, dip hem frock with long train. Veep star Anna Chlumsky decided on this quirky dress for the 2016 Emmy Awards, and we admire her determination to not wear a predictable dress.

Emilia Clarke stunned in Atelier Versace at the Emmy Awards. Not many people chose nude for this event, but Emilia stood out (in a good way!). She kept her hair and makeup fairly fuss-free as well.

What would Gossip Girl say about this dress, hey? Well, she'd probably love it because it's AMAZING. The plunging dress is by Zuhair Murad and it just brings a smile to your face. Bold move, but it totally paid off. Kristen teamed her dress with Harry Winston jewels.

Ooh, check out the new hair! Maisie Williams was almost unrecognisable at the 2016 Emmy Awards. The Markus Lupfer dress she chose for the night was adorable though - very Maisie. Shout out to her cheap-as-chips handbag as well - the Charles & Keith velvet clutch cost a mere £39.

It's nice having Mandy Moore back in our lives, and this look is just incredible. The yellow hue of her Prabal Gurung dress suits her skin tone perfectly, and the tomato red lips give it a high-fashion edge.

The former Downton Abbey star certainly made an entrance when she arrived at the 68th Emmy Awards in a layered monochrome gown teamed with Harry Winston jewels. If you haven't guessed it by now - her dress is Oscar de la Renta. Killer look!
