Emma Stone just got a perm so the style is officially back in fashion
It's the much-loathed hairstyle that's long been synonymous with poodles but the perm is officially back in fashion.
Don't believe us? Cast your eyes over Emma Stone's latest Instagram post, which sees the actress rocking a killer perm.
The redhead was spotted donning rollers at Mare Salon alongside makeup artist Rachel Goodwin, who told followers that the duo's hairstyle was "not your grandma's perm!"

Goodwin is right; the new trend is being dubbed the "digital wave". The bad news? It will cost you over £300 if you want it done at the salon.
A hairdresser will use a diluted version of perm solution on your hair and then wrap small sections around metal rollers to set.
Tegan, a stylist at Not Another Salon, said the trend is all thanks to two of our favourite TV shows.
She said: "Two of the most popular series have been Glow and Stranger Things; both set in the '80s. We're seeing a massive rise in retro cuts and styles.
"From the bouffant/beehives used in Chanel’s latest collection to the slicked back hair used in the last Jason Wu show, not to mention the massive rise in popularity of mullets, [link url="https://beautysale.store/gallery/celebrity-curls%22%5Dbig curly blowouts and perms on the salon floor. I think it's safe to say we've moved away from '90s grunge and we've moved on to '80s glam!”
