Game of Thrones fans, prepare to lose your shit. After going full on Daenerys Targaryen and dying her hair platinum blonde, Emilia Clarke has shared her first selfie - and yep, the caption is amazing.
Taking to Instagram to share the gorgeous photo of her new 'do, Emilia wrote: "The experiment continues. My IQ has stayed around average and my need to be near fire breathing creatures and uncomfortable seats made of iron has trebled. #hereslookingatyoukid #canyoutellthiswasshotonaniphone? #apparentlyblondestakemoreselfies"

For eight years, the British actress has covered her brunette hair with intricately braided wigs on the set of the hit television show. But now Emilia has channelled her inner Khaleesi and taken the peroxide plunge.

Unsurprisingly, Emilia turned to the creators of the Khaleesi wig to give her the Mother of Dragons look IRL. To her 13.4 million Instagram followers, Emilia captioned the photo:

But the British actress will no doubt still have to wear the long Daenerys wig to film season eight as she has also seemed to have chopped off her locks, opting for a super short bob. We canβt wait to see it.
Emilia has explained in the past that fans of the show would find it difficult to recognise her. In an interview with Conon OβBrien, she explained, "I don't get recognized, truly. I'll be walking with Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, or Gwen [Christie], who plays Brienne of Tarth, and people will be like, βCan you take this picture for us?β And I'm like, βSure! Definitely I can!ββ
But we're pretty sure thatβs all about to change.
