Love Halloween? And love Disney movies? We've got just the thing! We've compiled the top 10 Disney villains that make killer Halloween costumes. From the classic Queen of Hearts to Cinderella's evil step-sisters (to wear with your bestie), we're certain you'll find a villain-worthy costume in time for the 31st October...
Alternatively, if you want to dress up like a real-life Disney Princess, you can do as well - just make sure you add a little attitude.

Maleficent
When the much expected Maleficent movie was released in 2014, it quickly became one of Disney's most watched and iconic movies. With Angelina Jolie leading the plot, we could only wait for an outstanding performance, and a character to remember. Maleficent was first portrayed in the Disney classic The Sleeping Beauty before it got its own movie.
Get the look: The Maleficent costume is all about the horns. Give it a chic twist by reinterpreting Angelina's head piece, it almost looks like a leather head scarf, and it is pretty awesome. Pair it with a black cape and a structured collar, and don't forget the red lipstick!
The Evil Queen (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)
When the Evil Queen finds out that her step-daughter, Snow White, has grown to become the prettiest woman of her kingdom she is not happy about it. To fix this, she uses a poisoned apple to put the poor Snow White to eternal sleep.
Get the look: Who's the fairest of them all? At the time it may have been Snow White indeed, but The Queen's arched perfect eyebrows, smokey eyes, sculpted cheeks and red lipstick are slaying for 2016. This look is all about the dramatic makeup, collar and crown. Then, pair those with a purple dress and black cape, and you're ready to evilly run a kingdom.
Hades
The evil god, Hades is Hercules' uncle, and he had a master plan to run Olympia. However that plan involved getting Hercules out of the picture, who despite all of his efforts, manages to save his father's legacy. Like all characters in this franchise, Hades is originally a god from Greek mythology, destined to rule the underworld - although he is not an antagonist like in the Disney picture.
Get the look: Granted Hades is a man, but that doesn't change the fact that this is an awesome Halloween costume for anyone. Get the evil greek goddess look with neon blue hair + black dress and golden accessories.
Cruella de Vil
Chances are if you watched 101 Dalmatians as a kid you hated Cruella de Vil. The evil puppy-kidnapper had the worse intentions and the most grand (and cruel) fur coats. She was the last heiress of a notoriously rich family from London and married to a furrier, in the movie her wealth is said to be about £6 million.
Get the look: The ultimate rich-b*tch look - a skin-tight black dress, overlaid by a huge white (faux!) fur coat, plus gloves and court shoes. And how can we not mention Cruella's epic half black and half white hair? Give it a modern boost by opting for a white to black ombre with temporary colour, or even a wig.

Anastasia and Drizella
Cinderella's mean step-sisters are constantly trying to steal the princess' spotlight in the movie. Enchanted by the Charming Prince, who is searching for the beauty he met that lost her glass slipper at the ball, they try to fit into Cinderella's shoe and even hide her from the prince, with the help of their evil mother. The movie got a spin-off in a beautiful and anticipated 2015 production.
Get the look: Get your BFF to go along as the Drizella to your Anastasia. In the animated movie, the sisters have tiny waists and big bums due to their voluminous dresses. Their poodle-like hair was so iconic that Disney kept it in character for the new version of the motion-picture. We guarantee you'll have lots of laughs in this outfit.
Ursula
Definitely one of Disney's most unforgettable villains. When The Little Mermaid was released, the character won over audiences and even movie critics. She is considered by Disney as one of the best evil characters of all time and Ursula's personality was used as a canvas for the creation of several villains that came after her.
Get look:[/b] Although Ursula starred in The Little Mermaid in the 90s, her look is quite trendy for the present: a grey bob, a shell choker, red lipstick and black velvet dress…2016 much?!
The Queen of Hearts
The pompous Queen of Hearts is the villain that runs the lands that Alice wonders in. She is a bad-tempered monarch that chops people's heads off if they cross her. In other words you don't want to mess with her. The Queen of Hearts was replaced by the Red Queen, a similar character that has a passion for chess, in the 2010 spin-off by Tim Burton. She was played by the iconic Helena Bonham Carter.
Get the look: This one is a Halloween classic, and you can find pretty much any version of it out there. Think red ball gowns to sexy short dresses - you're going to turn heads (not chop them, thankfully).
Captain Hook
Captain Hook is one of the most comical and unforgettable villains of the Disney classics. He's a meanie on a mission to get vengeance for his left hand, fed to a crocodile by Peter Pan.
Get the look: Captain Hook is your go-to if you're looking for a chic pirate look. Choose a tailored ensemble of jacket, shirt and trousers. A pompous hat is a must, as the voluminous hair and...yes, the eye patch, and hook!

Scar
Scar is a very smart and revengeful character from Disney's unforgettable The Lion King. This evil lion leads a pack of hyenas to kill the throne's young successor, Simba. The movie got not only a sequel but also a worldwide famous Broadway musical, a must-see if you love the movie.
Get the look: Is it still Halloween if no one shows up dressed as a sexy cat? The feline costumes are no news, but pulling out an evil lion costume can be a little more tricky. Go for an untamed mane, green contact lenses, and a lot of whiskers on the cheek.
Yzma
Yzma is quite a peculiar character but he's also very glamorous. The villainess turned cat from the The Emperor’s New Groove
, does her best to take the throne out of the hands of its young emperor.
Get the look: For this latin goes evil look, you cannot dismiss the big earrings, long red nails and feather collar. The purple ponytail and body-hugging black dress are also a must.
