The ultimate Curated beauty gift edit, compiled by GLAMOUR editors
Luxury means different things to different people. But when it comes to the best luxury beauty gifts, it's universally agreed that seeking out well-crafted perfumes, indulgent textures and packaging to impress (and preferably repurpose) are guaranteed to sprinkle a bit of magic during the festive season.
Deciding on which luxury gifts are truly worth the investment can be difficult, so who better to guide you than the GLAMOUR beauty team? We know what makes a truly timeless scent, whether it's for the home or for your pulse points. We're also well-versed in gift sets that the beauty buff in your life will want to use during party season and beyond.
Above all, we've pulled together an edit of Curated Christmas gifts that will spark endless amounts of joy in the lucky recipient…
I've been a big fan of Victoria Beckham's eyeliners ever since they launched in 2019 (you clearly agree, as they won Best Eyeliner in the recent GLAMOUR Beauty & Wellness Power List Awards). The shades are spot on for all eye colours, they glide on without tugging and allow you just enough play time to smoke out the line with the sponge tip. This holiday set in its sleek eggshell white case features four of Victoria's hero metallic liners – including my favourite Sequin Green shade, as well as the new sparkly Silver Glaze – a sharpener to keep the tips pin-thin and the cult Vast Lash Mascara for a full-bodied flutter. The perfect party eye curation.

I'm very much lusting after this giant Diptyque scented candle. My perfumes regularly feature gardenia as I'm drawn to the floral, creamy scent – but this candle is undercut by a green freshness to ensure it smells opulent without being too overpowering. Oxblood is also the colour of the season, and this porcelain pot can be repurposed in so many ways after the candle has burnt down to the metal base. I've seen people use it as a plant pot and a makeup brush holder – you can even store your cotton pads or lipsticks inside.

If in doubt, you can't go wrong with gifting a luxury hand wash and hand cream duo. This Byredo set is a decent size and comes in a suitably festive box - so no gift wrapping required! The cleanser is laced with freesia and warm blonde woods to leave hands beautifully scented, while the shea butter in the hand lotion is exactly what chapped, winter skin is crying out for. Trust Byredo to turn a mundane task into an indulgent treat.

I was lucky enough to be invited to see Chanel turn on the Christmas lights on Bond Street recently. As we crowded into the VIP section, every cool influencer and model was wearing this purse spray – either on a belt or dangling from the strap of their handbag – and I'm not going to lie, it shot straight to the top of my festive wish list.
It ticks every box: it looks chic, it taps into the current trend for bag charms and it houses the world's most iconic fragrance – Chanel's powdery floral No5 EDP. Not to mention, each Purse Spray comes with three perfume refills, making it both functional for when you're on the go and a lust-worthy keepsake. Gabrielle Chanel's advice was to apply it "wherever you would like to be kissed" – so perhaps it's one to spritz on before standing under the mistletoe?

2024 has seen a resurgence of astrology, and I have several friends who are heavily invested in their horoscopes and moon cycles. I know they are going to love the limited edition Constellation hair brush by La Bonne Brosse. The midnight blue handle is engraved with a constellation to match your star sign and features tiny, hand-set crystals to mimic stars. It's also said that the body's energy passes through the ‘crown chakra’ – do scalp massages come any more luxurious than with an astral-inspired hair brush? If you're looking for a personalised gift, but don't want to go down the initials route, I'd highly recommend.

If anything was going to trump a delicious gift hamper from Harvey Nichols, it would be a Charlotte Tilbury beauty hamper. This wicker basket is brimming with everything a Tilbury enthusiast would love – from the pot of Magic Cream that the GLAMOUR editors awarded Best Skin Product in our 2024 Beauty & Wellness Power List Awards to the Hollywood Beauty Light Wand, that also scooped best highlighter, and the cult Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes! Mascara.

I can be a little wary of gift sets, as sometimes it means you end up with the odd product that you’ll never use. But this one includes a limited-edition eyeshadow palette with colours that match the nail polishes so you always feel pulled together – with a gorgeous gold clutch as a bonus. There's something for every season and makeup moment in this collection. Personally, I'm really loving the eyeshadow palette. It has versatility in spades; midnight blue eyes have gone TikTok viral and there's plenty of nude shades for office days.

Perhaps the most luxe beauty advent calendar you can come by, Maison Francis Kurkdjian is the gift for beauty girls in the know. The brand’s hero scent Baccarat Rouge 540 was discovered by TikTok (a 70ml of the Extrait de Parfum and a 35ml body oil of the iconic scent can be found inside), but this countdown calendar also offers recipients the chance to discover new favourites. Specifically designed to be gifted on Christmas day, rather than a traditional calendar that counts down from December 1st to 25th, this one leads you from Christmas day to the new year.
Highlights include three minis of the brand’s most-loved candles and a full-size of the Christmas tree scented Mon Beau Sapin (to keep the cosy vibes going in January). There are also minis of up-and-coming scents 724, Grand Soir and Aqua Universalis, as well as a huge 200ml sparkling body oil in the fragrance house’s ultra sexy Oud Satin Mood.

One of the best beauty investments you can make is a makeup bag that can go the distance. This leather Saint Laurent cosmetics case is a timeless classic that is hard-wearing and just so stylish. It’s the perfect size for all your essentials and can fit into a handbag if you like to have your makeup with you on the go. Plus, she’s a keeper. This will be just as stunning and covetable in a decade (or two, or three).
