The V&A Collaborates With Coast On A New Collection
Inspired by the exhibit Ballgowns: British Glamour since 1950 at the V&A, Coast's latest collection, modelled by Suki Waterhouse, is totally museum-worthy, of course
As Coast launches its new line with the V&A Ballgowns exhibition, we asked Kim Elliot, head of design at Coast, how the concept came about:
Kim says: "The V&A were working on an amazing exhibition to showcase British glamour since the 1950s. Ballgowns spanned 60 years of stylish evening wear from debutantes to royalty and charity balls to red carpet. As the occassionwear specialists, we approached the V&A to see if we could do a fabulous collaboration…as that’s exactly why Coast exists, to be fabulous!"
