Sabrina: The Teenage Witch has long had a soft spot in our hearts. But when Kiernan Shipka took the lead role in the show’s darker reboot for Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina , she won us over and a whole generation of new fans. It was a remake which was so great, it was immediately commissioned for a second season. So, here’s everything you need to know about the much-anticipated second season…
When will season two premiere?
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will officially land on Netflix on April 5th, 2019. So, it’s not long to go now – blessed be!

And what a 44 second treat it is! The trailer opens with Sabrina navigating a style switch-up, magically slipping out of her riot of colour of print from season one to a chic black roll neck and short pleated skirt combo. Trying to be edgy, Sabrina? We are feeling it! Elsewhere there is a tonne of creepy looking scenes and things look like they are about to get racy between Sabrina and her love interest, Harvey.
Who’s in the cast of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season two?
Kiernan Shipka is back as Sabrina – headband and all – alongside your new crush, Ross Lynch, who plays her boyf, Harvey. Aunties Hilda and Zelda will also be making a spellbinding comeback, played by The Office’s Lucy Davis and Miranda Otto. However, a new cast addition is set to seriously spice things up. Alexis Denisof, who is best known for playing Wesley the Watcher in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, is set to hit Greendale by storm after travelling with Physicians Without Borders to find his GF, Mary Wardell, who was possessed by the evil Madam Satan... as you do. The Descendants’ Jedidiah Goodacre is also preparing to hit the second season playing a yet-to-be-revealed character.
What is the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina storyline?
Following up from season one, the new series is set to be darker than the first with Sabrina giving in to her ‘dark side.’ Dun Dun Dunnn. There is also set to be a love triangle thrown into the mix with Sabrina caught in the middle of sexy AF warlock, Nicholas Scratch and the more mortal, Harvey Kinkle. It’s going to be juicy.
