Adorable photos of celebrity mothers and daughters at the same age prove the apple doesn't fall far from the tree
These celebrity mothers and daughters share some seriously good genes.
The first mother-daughter pair that spring to mind for many of us (especially after seeing the viral photo of them this weekend) are Gwyneth Paltrow and her 16-year-old daughter, Apple.
Likewise, we love 44-year-old Reese Witherspoon and her daughter Ava Phillippe, 20. Not only do the pair have an incredibly close relationship that they often share on social media, but it's not exactly a secret that the University of California student is a total carbon copy of her Big Little Lies star mum. But just wait until you see the side-by-side of Witherspoon at Phillippe's age – the resemblance is even more striking!
Then there's 18-year-old model Kaia Gerber who, since making her runway debut at Calvin Klein’s Spring 2018 show in September 2017, has been drawing comparisons to her supermodel mum, Cindy Crawford. Whether they're being snapped together at industry events or sharing selfies on Instagram, the mother-daughter resemblance is uncanny. A couple of months after her runway debut, Kaia uploaded a selfie with her mum to Instagram, with the caption: "I just don’t see the resemblance" (yeah, right)! More recently, Kaia shared a throwback snap of her mum with the caption: "happy birthday to the woman I’m lucky enough to call my best friend. I love you mom" – and we still can't believe it's not Kaia herself in the photo tbh.
Not forgetting everyone's favourite beauty icon Zoë Kravitz, whose dad Lenny Kravitz is perhaps the most famous of her parents, but after seeing the below snaps, it's undeniable that Zoë takes after her actress and activist mum, Lisa Bonet.
