Bradley Cooper has had his fair share of Hollywood ladies (Renée Zellweger, Zoe Saldana and Jennifer Lawrence, if you believe the rumours), so we were mightily pleased when he chose Brit girl Suki Waterhouse to date in 2013. The pair were spotted everywhere from LA to Brooklyn to Wimbledon so maybe the model is the one to tame this Romeo.

Imagine the tunes these two belt out together! Glee star Naya Rivera not only confirmed that she was dating rapper Big Sean, but announced that they were engaged in October…with a rock the size of the moon.

February saw a bit of partner swapping going on among the stars… 90210 star Jessica Lowndes started dating Kelly Brook’s ex, rugby ace Thom Evans. And had us oogling over their daily, lovesick selfies...

Probably the most surprising hook-up of the last 12 months was Jennifer Lopez’ ex Marc Anthony and Topshop heiress/Made In Chelsea alumnae Chloe Green. Despite a blip over the spring, the pair are still going strong and Chloe’s even been introduced to Marc’s twins (although we’re guessing not to his famous ex).

One of 2013’s blink-and-you’ll miss-it romances came from Calvin Harris and Adam Levine’s ex, Victoria’s Secret model Anne Vyalitsyna. The pair never got past the “looking close in a nightclub” phase and Calvin Harris moved on to a certain pop later in the year.

Ashley Roberts wasn’t the first star to find love in the Jungle but she was the first one to be linked with one of the I’m A Celebrity… hosts. The Pussycat Doll and Declan Donnelly refused to confirm or deny that anything was going on, insisting that they were just good “friends”. Something that seemed to ring true when Dec started dating his manager Ali Astall shortly afterwards.

Springtime in New York is a special time, especially if you are Tamsin Egerton and Josh Hartnett. The vertically-impressive pair were regularly spotted strolling hand-in-hand, around the Big Apple, failing miserably to fit in with the city’s commuters.

Romance was in the air for the Middleton clan in spring 2013 (maybe they needed a distraction from the baby talk). First up, Kate’s brother James Middleton started romancing Byker Grove protégée-turned-socialite Donna Air at Mayfair’s various haunts.

Then Pippa Middleton, who never fails to have a stream of aristocratic suitors, stepped out with stockbroker Nico Jackson. The pair were even rumoured to be engaged, although Pippa was thought to be holding off on a big announcement till the excitement over her sister’s son had died down. Good luck with that one!

They’re part of two of the biggest families in Hollywood so it wasn’t surprising that teens Kylie Jenner and Jaden Smith were thrown together. Despite claiming that their relationship is platonic, the duo have been spotted in the same red hoodie.*
*Surely a signal of romance if there ever was one.

The pair were finally persuaded to open up, with Ariana admitting she may even use their relationship as inspiration for some of her songs. Move over Taylor Swift!

"We're very much in the honeymoon period. She's awesome. She's like a best mate as much as a girlfriend. I've finally found a girl!" Max gushed.

And, well, that someone - is a guy.”
