Summer dresses and white accents reign supreme as the chicest celebrities make their way to Wimbledon

With Andy Murray swerving Centre Court for another year, all British eyes - and hopes - are pinned on the brilliant Johanna Konta.

Not the only woman to be stealing our attention in SW19 this week, however, Kate Middleton made her first appearance of the tournament so far on Tuesday dressed head-to-toe in perfectly-appropriate Wimbledon whites. She takes her role of patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club very seriously, after all.

A custom shirt dress designed by British brand Suzannah, Kate offset the classic piece with a slim black belt, heeled pumps and raffia box bag by Alexander McQueen.

But it's not only the Centre Court courting the chicest tennis fans, with the evian Suite on Court 1 playing host to a smorgasbord of big names who are all proving that the humble summer dress will forever reign supreme.

Day one saw the a-list likes of Rebel Wilson and Janelle Monae gracing the space, alongside Victoria's Secret model Leomie Anderson and musician Loyle Carner, while day two saw model - and girlfriend of Brooklyn Beckham, Hana Cross, arrive in a sweet green mini and white denim jacket.

Week two got off to a great start on Monday, with the likes of Sienna Miller, Maisie Williams and Anna Wintour all turning out to take their Centre Court seats.
