How the stars do wild carnival style
The streets of West London will be rife with partying this weekend as Notting Hill Carnival gets underway.
But what to wear for such an occasion? Take your inspiration from the stars' carnival ensembles - from Cara Delevingne and Rihanna to Jourdan Dunn and Gisele:

We begin with Rihanna – queen of the carnival - who is often seen partying at Barbados’ annual Crop Over, an annual celebration of the end of the sugar cane harvest. Never one to shy away from showing a little/a lot of skin, she tends to go for traditional bejewelled costumes with an ornate headdress.

And to Jourdan Dunn, who joined Rihanna at Crop Over in Barbados this year, working a bright yellow bikini with jewelled detailing and a feather headdress.

UK carnivals call for a different carnival style – die-hards wear bejewelled bikini-style costumes, but most of us would rather just nod to the Caribbean vibrancy, as demonstrated by Cara Delevingne.
