Brit Awards 2026: The best beauty looks you need to see
It's one of music's biggest nights in the UK, but the Brit Awards are also a major moment for beauty looks. Held at the Manchester Co-op Live arena, Chappell Roan went head-to-head with Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter for International Artist of the Year, but whose red carpet hair and makeup will win your vote?
The Brit Awards have historically been a playground for wildly exciting self-expression. Think beauty looks that scream experimentation (who can forget Geri Halliwell's now iconic 1997 moneypiece highlights and Union Jack mini dress?), rather than clean girl beauty that whispers demurely. And this year's attendees did not disappoint.
Early arrivals only confirmed that beauty is experiencing a soft Goth revival with Tam Kaur's completely opaque aubergine lip and Bel Priestley's poker-straight raven hair. What we're dubbing ‘Victorian heroine chic’ also emerged as a trend with Amybeth McNulty sporting Wuthering Heights waves and Rosalía serving up soft, flushed cheeks, full bitten lips and loose tendrils escaping from her updo.
On the other end of the beauty spectrum, Glamour cover star CMAT and Krystal D'Anjou proved that makeup maximalism is alive and kicking in 2026, while Celeste brought the drama by channelling the vampire romantic beauty aesthetic.
